The Student Research Intern will support the research team to conduct project work and proposal writing through literature searches, project and evaluation design, quantitative and qualitative analyses and deliverable preparation in the areas of labor/human services (e.g., workforce investment programs, unemployment insurance, dislocated workers), health (e.g., government health care programs, such as Medicare/Medicaid, areas of long-term health care and quality measurement), education (e.g., elementary and secondary reform, adolescent literacy, high school dropout and graduation, English language learners, teacher professional development, youth development, and school career and technical education ), survey research and/or international development.
Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative data cleaning and data analysis
Prepare presentation-quality charts and tables to include in project reports
Assist with writing and proof-reading proposals and project reports
Review professional publications from various sources to extract and summarize information relevant to assigned project and proposal work
