The Documentation Specialist will support a cross functional team on a large federal system development life cycle (SDLC) project, working within agile Integrated Product Teams to develop, maintain and deliver required project, release and sprint documentation as scheduled.
Verify technical documentation to ensure correct numbering, formatting, revision accuracy per project requirements and client expectation
Review document formats to ensure that they match required output
Ensure that documentation is stored in correct location according to version control requirements
Distribute technical documentation
Maintain document control files and retrieve documentation for users
Review pertinent contract portions for information relating to functional execution processes
Contributes to setting up the project specific databases and processes
Participate in project/team meetings and act as scribe to record meeting activity
Scan and print technical document packages
Perform other clerical duties as needed / requested
