    IMPAQ Health is seeking a full-time Research Analyst who will support research, technical assistance and product development projects. In addition to possessing solid fundamental research skills, this position requires the ability to work with customers, users, and other contractors to gather, understand and document business, functional, and non-technical requirements. This information is used in the conceptualization, design, development, testing, verification and validation, documentation, and implementation of information systems or applications.


    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.  Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.



    • Apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to manage and analyze research data
    • Construct, clean, and document datasets for project-related use
    • Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans
    • Manage administrative aspects of projects
    • Write, compile, and edit assigned portions of proposals and project reports
    • Conduct user research and usability testing
    • Track and monitor contractual requirements
    • Develop user stories and requirement documents as per project standards and guidance
    • Working with development and testing teams to implement requirements as per functional specifications


    Education, Knowledge, and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Engineering Psychology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Health Policy, Human Factors, Human-Centered Design)
    • Experience in data analysis using SAS, SQL, Excel, and/or other databases
    • Proposal and report preparation experience a plus
    • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, etc.).
    • Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Hipchat, Slack, Waffle and Trello, a plus
