    IMPAQ International is seeking Research Interns at our Washington, DC office to join our International Development division.

    Responsibilities

    The Research interns will provide support to ID team by performing the following tasks:

    • Conduct literature review, including comprehensive review of federal publications, information summarization, data collection, database creation (and maintenance) and qualitative analysis and presentation;
    • Gather intelligence on international development solicitations, RFP's, RFI's, and support business development, recruitment, operations, and research activities;
    • Conduct primary and secondary research;
    • Support preparation of technical proposals, including coordinating proposals, formatting technical material, backstopping proposal recruitment, and researching/developing business intelligence;
    • Assist in the production of marketing materials;
    • Provide project operations backstopping as necessary;
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • A strong work ethic is strongly preferred. Interns are expected to learn quickly, work independently and in groups, take directions, be organized, and be resourceful and collaborative.
    • Research experience in public policy or related fields required;
    • Previous experience in international development is desirable;
    • Advanced expertise of Microsoft Excel, Word Excel, PowerPoint a must;
    • Knowledge or familiarity with data analysis using SAS, STATA, SPSS, Survey CTO, and/or database applications is highly desirable;
    • Previous experience in report preparation and preferred.
    • Fluency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese is highly desireable.
