    Working with the U.S. Department of Labor, the Analyst/Assistant Project Manager at Maher & Maher will play a critical role in supporting the management of national working groups and library files. The Analyst/Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating state representatives that make up a national technical assistance advisory group. He or she will also have responsibilities related to organizing and preserving historical documents. Other key duties include managing project activities; supporting project budget management; and contributing to technical assistance products.




    • At least 2 years of professional experience related to managing projects and technical assistance provision. 
    • Experience in the workforce development or education field preferred.
    • Experience working in a team environment.
    • Library Science background a plus.


    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas clearly.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented.
    • Strong analytical capabilities.
    • A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to lead project activities.
    • Ability to manage work on multiple, concurrent projects.
    • Resourceful and capable in anticipating problems and effectively resolving challenges.
    • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
    • Capability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse team.
    • Desire to learn new things and apply the latest trends and technologies to your work.


    Bachelor’s degree required 



    This position requires working three days per week on site at our client location in Washington, DC
